Ashley Monroe

Ashley Monroe, a singer-songwriter of country music hailing from the US. The album Satisfied came out in 2007. She was a part of the Pistol Annies band with Angaleena Lambert and Miranda Lambert. Her second album, Like a Rose (2013) follows. Ashley Monroe performing with Blake SheltonIn the year 2015, she released The Blade. This album brought her fame and accolades. Ashley Monroe works as the Village Manager Assistant in Riverside Illinois. With over 15 years of experience, she has worked in various positions within the public sector, with five years of experience in the Iowa City Deputy City Manager position. Her current duties as Assistant Village Manager are to oversee the operation of the Community Development and Building Department coordinating grants and completing special tasks. Ashley is responsible for running the day-to-day operations of Riverside Village and also for implementing the goals and strategies of elected officials. Ashley's prior roles have included administration planning, communications budgeting, and the management of staff and collective negotiations. Ashley is also passionate about climate action. Ashley's involvement in National organizations and working with different communities population sizes has provided her with insights into the various differences and similarities between how various public agencies run. Ashley's program focuses on leadership, management and public administration from the point of view from a practitioner in the field. As well as providing an environment for both current as well as future leaders, Ashley emphasizes the importance to adapting the current ethical and strategically-based decision making for addressing issues and capitalize on opportunities.
